Our top picks of fabulous fragranced gifts for Valentine’s Day

We love gifting here at Ashleigh & Burwood, especially when it involves something as personal and timeless as fragrance. Fragrance is intrinsically linked to our memories and the perfect fragranced gift stays with the recipient for years, the scent always reminding them of a treasured moment.

With just under a week to go, here are our choices for beautifully scented gifts to share with your loved one on Valentine’s Day.

Best Scented Candle: Peony Blush Candle – £18.00

The warm glow of candlelight is well-known for its romantic ambience while flowers are a go-to Valentine’s classic, so a floral scented candle is a sweet nod to the traditions of the holiday. Blossoming peonies like those found in this fragrance from our Artistry Collection are a popular fragrance trend and a beautiful, modern alternative to the rose.

Best Gift Set: Rose Bud Fragrance Lamp Gift Set – £37.95

This glittering hand-crafted Fragrance Lamp, decorated with a mosaic of dusky crimson and romantic rose glass, would be a fantastic gift for any lover of sparkle and shine. Beautiful and with the power of impressive fragrance, this iridescent Lamp is paired with the airy, nostalgic scent of Fresh Linen.

Best Floral Fragrance: Tea Rose Diffuser – £12.00

The classic symbol of romance is given a fresh twist in this reed diffuser from The Scented Home. The velvety scent of rose is blended with lily, narcissus and geranium to create a soft, romantic scent perfect for showing your affection on Valentine’s Day.

Best Wild Card: Pinemingos Candle – £38.00

No red roses or love hearts here, but this Wild Things Pinemingos candle is a great choice  for any wildlife lover or fan of quirky, exotic design. Featuring a super-trendy collage of funky flamingos and tropical pineapples topped with a gleaming old lid, the scent of coconut and lychee conjures up a beautiful island getaway.

Step into our Country Garden this spring…

Welcome to our Country Garden! For our Spring Collection we wanted to paint a picture of stolen moments of relaxation in dappled sunlight within a pretty cottage garden. The English heritage of Ashleigh & Burwood is important to us, so we aimed to create fragrances that reflected the timeless image of an English sunny day in the garden. As Anna our Product Development Manager explains, ‘Every element from fragrances, colours and styling has been crafted and selected to build the picture of a traditional English garden’.

We’re lucky that many of these traditional gardens are still thriving in our local landscape of Surrey. In fact, the photographs of the new collection were taken quite literally in our own back garden at the home of one of the Ashleigh & Burwood team.

At the heart of the collection are classic English garden florals of Peony, Tea Rose and Lavender, elevated into fresh, modern scents. Tempering the florals are green garden favourites such as Garden Mint, Wild Meadow and Herb Garden.
